BRUSHING YOUR TEETH STILL… HAS NO ALTERNATIVE

In 2021 we still haven’t figured out how to avoid the toothbrush and survive the consequences.

Scientists have found out that if you avoid brushing your teeth for a couple of months you would have such bad breath within two days that it causes havoc with your social and work life.

You risk developing cavities and will definitely develop gum disease. And that means losing teeth and being unable to chew properly; so poor digestion and poor nutrition.

But that is just the beginning.

The mouth is the breeding ground of all manner of bacteria. You would put your body on a path of systemic illnesses caused by drug resistant bacteria of which a certain P.Gingivans is a chief culprit along with MRSA ( methicillin resistant Staph Aureus).

Heart Disease; Respiratory Illnesses; autoimmune illness like Rheumatoid arthritis; And aggravation of Diabetes and increased pregnancy risk are all linked to a” Dirty mouth.”

Leaving food and therefore bacteria in your mouth could have severe health consequences along the way.

And if you are male:

Long-standing or chronic gum disease is linked to erectile dysfunction, (in one study 79 percent of men with gum disease had erectile dysfunction.)

There is more to this business of brushing than just a bright smile….

It’s time to take your oral health seriously. Take your brush and spend three minutes twice a day to remove bacteria from your mouth.

And get yourself a good stock of dental floss. Use it at least three times a week.

You won’t regret it.
